The AVP Endpoint Administrator is responsible for the implementation, management, and lifecycle support of enterprise endpoint technologies. This role ensures that all corporate devices remain secure, compliant, properly configured, and consistently updated across the organization. The AVP Endpoint Administrator manages application packaging and deployment processes, enforces device security policies, and plays a critical role in maintaining a reliable and secure end user computing environment.
Serving as a technical expert within the Endpoint Management team, the Endpoint Administrator oversees device provisioning, configuration, patching, software distribution, and continuous improvement of endpoint-related workflows. The position also functions as an escalation point for complex issues, collaborating with IT, security, and vendor teams to resolve challenges and support enterprise initiatives. The role includes supporting change management activities, documenting procedures, generating reports, and contributing to the organization’s endpoint strategy.
The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on experience with Intune device and application management, identity and access controls through Microsoft Entra, automated patching with Automox, and enterprise software packaging. They must be skilled at troubleshooting, able to detect and respond to emerging trends, and capable of ensuring endpoints remain secure, optimized, and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential to success in this role.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Configure, deploy, and manage Intune device policies, including configuration profiles, compliance policies, conditional access, and security baselines.
  • Manage device enrollment, provisioning, and lifecycle operations across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Package, deploy, update, and retire applications using Intune, ensuring proper version control and distribution.
  • Integrate Intune with other Microsoft 365 services to support seamless identity, security, and device management workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment, configuration, and reporting tasks.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to device configurations, application deployments, compliance failures, or Intune service components.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and best practices for device management and application deployment.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal staff on Intune usage and endpoint management processes.
  • Stay current on new Intune features, enhancements, and best practices, proactively recommending improvements to endpoint strategy.
  • Manage and support Entra ID–based device identity, conditional access, and role-based access configurations.
  • Ensure secure integration of devices and applications with Entra ID authentication and identity governance.
  • Collaborate with security teams to apply zero-trust policies and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Administer Automox for OS and third‑party patch distribution, configuration enforcement, and endpoint hardening.
  • Collaborate with IT and Security teams to optimize patching cadence and remediation workflows.
  • Build, test, and deploy software packages for Windows and macOS using Intune, Automox, or other deployment platforms.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, PSADT) for automation.
  • Perform application lifecycle management, including version updates, compatibility testing, and retirement.
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to validate software requirements and resolve packaging issues.
  • Act as an escalation point for the Endpoint Management team for complex device, configuration, or application issues.
  • Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting including software installations, upgrades, hardware configuration, and system tuning.
  • Use company ticketing tools to record, track, prioritize, and document incidents and resolution steps.
  • Access internal and external knowledge bases to aid diagnosis and problem resolution.
  • Identify trends in recurring incidents and escalate findings to management to prevent future issues.
  • Provide planning, analysis, implementation, and testing of OS upgrades or new releases, ensuring compatibility with existing applications and infrastructure.
  • Support company-managed software patch cycles, releases, and rollouts following established Change Management processes.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors during installation, testing, troubleshooting, and post-deployment validation.
  • Ensure endpoint systems meet performance, security, and availability requirements; take corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Generate and present reports to management on device compliance, patching status, incident trends, and endpoint health.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Networking, and Infrastructure teams to support enterprise endpoint initiatives.
  • Participate in company and department training programs to maintain technical proficiency.
  • Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Associate degree in technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.
  • 6 year of experience in Endpoint Management or related field
  • Comp TIA Network+ and A+ certifications are a plus
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus
  • Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, smartphones, and end user facing network configurations
  • Extensive experience with VDI, Active Directory, O365, Windows OS and File shares
  • Familiar with Windows server OS 2012 and above
  • Proficient in basic network and security fundamentals
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
  • Strong documentation skills and a willingness to assist with documentation
  • Self-Starter with ability to work as part of a team and individually as required by specific project needs
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Possess the traits of having patience, being thorough and innovative
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues is required
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly, and technical language
  • Highly self-motivated and directed

  • Must be able to physically to handle and set up technology equipment. Can require lifting to 50lbs.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$80,000.00 - $110,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
