 As Managing Director, Originations, you would be directly responsible for sourcing and originating commercial real estate debt investments for various capital sources. The position will require developing relationships with prospective borrowers and intermediaries while maintaining and building enduring relationships with existing clients. The expectation is that this person will assume direct originations responsibilities upon joining. We seek demonstrated experience successfully originating and negotiating loans as evidenced by a strong track record of closed loans over the past several years.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

·        Management responsibilities for all aspects of due diligence, loan structuring, client management, business development and investment recommendation 

·        Develop and maintain origination network of direct borrowers and brokers nationwide 

·        Assist in the marketing of securitizations, including traveling on the road shows 

·        Manage teams of Originators and work closely with underwriting leaders 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

·        Candidate is required to have a BA/BS, ideally in commercial real estate finance, finance or similar

·        At least 15+ years’ experience focused on commercial real estate

·        Strong work ethic with a solutions-driven approach to working through issues or challenges

·        Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

·        Desire to work among a diverse team and be a supportive and collaborative colleague

·        Ability to multi-task and work effectively under tight deadlines

·        Skills in structuring and planning work, and proactively managing tasks through ebbs and flows in workload

·        Strong attention to detail, analytical and accuracy skills

·        Ability to learn and comprehend information quickly

·        Willingness and motivation to make the group successful

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment running multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$350,000.00 - $550,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
