Our client is the Securitized Products group within the investment bank of a premier European-based global financial services institution located in New York City. About Securitized Products:
Our clients Securitized Products team delivers integrated & innovative strategies to help meet the unique capital and investment needs of our clients across the securitization spectrum including financial institutions, sponsors, state-owned institutions, insurers, asset managers, funds, and corporates. Securitized Products is a client focused market making business, dealing in Asset Backed Securities (ABS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Agency and Non-Agency Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS), Commercial Mortgage Back Securities Index (CMBX) and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) Secondary Trading. Securitized Products also has a significant financing footprint, with desks which is focused on providing clients with longer term financing solutions across a range of assets and jurisdictions (including loan portfolios and securitizations, bridge loans, warehouse loans and repo facilities).
Role will primarily initially support our consumer ABS (autos/credit cards/specialty finance/equipment finance/BNPL) and non-traditional ABS (whole business securitization/digital infrastructure/royalty streams/IP monetization) asset classes.
The key Roles and Responsibilities will include the following:
Perform data analysis of collateral portfolios, historical performance statistics, transaction, and collateral cash flow projections, and expected case losses for consumer and non-traditional ABS asset classes
Prepare comprehensive detailed credit memorandums containing transaction and structural analysis, credit analysis, cash flow model results, and a review of risks and mitigants. Coordinate review and approval of new transactions, as well as amendments/waivers for existing transactions with members of Group Risk
Assist with conducting client, seller, and servicer due diligence in coordination with new and existing transactions
Assist with structuring warehouse securitization transactions (initially in a primarily analytical capacity with a longer-term goal of developing legal and structural expertise in ABS asset classes)
Assist senior members of the team with negotiating transaction legal documentation with clients, external counsel, and internal legal team members
Run transaction returns using the company’s-internal capital models and help prepare capital committee approval documents
Conduct active portfolio and transaction monitoring tasks using the company’s internally developed portfolio monitoring systems and reviewing servicer/settlement/manager reports on an ongoing basis
Coordinate transaction closing mechanics with middle office, conduit funding desk, operations, legal, compliance and other internal stakeholders to close and fund new transactions, as well as support ongoing operational needs for clients (act as the primary client interface for post-close deal support)
3-6 years of relevant experience preferred (securitization/ABS exposure preferred but not required)
Degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative / STEM background preferred but not required (also open to structured finance legal backgrounds)
Solid understanding and interest in credit markets, financial accounting, statistics, and corporate and investment banking products
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task across time sensitive deal-flow in a fast-paced environment

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$125,000.00 - $150,000.00Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
