The VP, Workday Financials Developer will play a leading role in this initiative by designing, developing, and supporting integrations, complex financial reports and custom applications. The developer will partner with peers in the Financial Systems team to align on business and functional requirements and drive the development of solutions that deliver the intended business outcomes.

This role is a member of the Financial Systems team. The Financial Systems team is responsible for ensuring that core finance operational processes including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report are well designed to leverage the automation capabilities of Workday Financials.

The VP, Financial Financials developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations, reports and customized documents based on requirements specified by the financial systems team product owners. You’ll collaborate closely with the product owners and stakeholders in the Finance department to implement enhancements, troubleshoot issues and provide support for our Workday users. 


Essential Job Functions:

  • Design and build integrations with external applications (internal and 3rd party) using appropriate Workday tools, extensive knowledge of Web Services and integration technologies (XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, JSON, Javascript).
  • Lead the development of custom solutions using Workday Studio, Prism, Extend and your knowledge of Workday best practices. 
  • Create and modify Workday Reports, including Simple, Advanced, Composite, and Matrix report.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis support to pinpoint system issues and develop actions plans to resolve.
  • Participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and support.
  • Create and maintain document for new and existing integrations. 
  • Maintains knowledge of currently evolving platforms, programming languages, and web/database technologies
  • Stays up-to-date on business initiatives and objectives, particularly as these relate to infrastructure and development architecture issues


Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, information systems preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong technical and coding skills using Java, XML, XSLT, and relevant technologies.
  • Extensive experience with integration 3rd party applications with Workday using web service APIs, Workday Studio and Core Connectors.
  • Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Pro, Workday Integration Certified) preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with Workday integrations and web services and Workday reporting tools.
  • Experience developing integrations/reports using Prism Analytics.
  • Professional experience with Workday Extend including PMD Scripting, Orchestration, Finance modules and Security.
  • Technical knowledge of Workday Financials, including familiarity with standard business processes, security, and reporting.
  • Experience working as part of a distributed, remote team with international work groups (India, Europe, and US).
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and prioritize tasks effectively.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($95,000 - $170,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.  All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
