Vice President, Asset Management Operations
We are seeking a Vice President of Asset Management Operations to be fully dedicated to our client, a New York City-based real estate debt fund manager that invests in public and private markets with over $6 billion in assets under management. Since its inception in 1995, the firm has invested over $25 billion in its funds and separate accounts. The firm focuses on opportunistic and value-add debt and equity investments across asset classes in major and secondary markets throughout the U.S.
Primary Responsibilities
- Database management, including data integrity and quality assurance, and facilitate coordination between service providers and internal teams for Due Diligence Questionnaires, and ad hoc requests.
- Manage the investor reporting process including the coordination of third-party service providers.
- Act as the asset management liaison for the portfolio management, financial control, and marketing teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of asset management team responsibilities for all investor reporting deliverables and ad-hoc requests.
- Ensure accurate and timely responses to all prospective investors’ inquiries.
- Assist with various asset management operational functions including asset onboarding, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, real estate, accounting or a related degree is required; Masters’ degree a plus.
- 7 to 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate debt; asset management and investor reporting experience is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with service providers and various internal teams at the Firm.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail during the preparation and review of all deliverables is required.
- Must be able to work efficiently with minimum supervision, work well under pressure, and handle multiple tasks/demands and changing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong writing ability, technological savvy, effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Database/Portfolio Monitoring software and Excel is required. Knowledge of iLevel Portfolio Monitoring and Argus a plus.
The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($140,000 - $250,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
