Our Client is looking for a Real Estate Performance Reporting Analyst, who will be dedicated to client services and be located in the Dallas office. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with all financial and investment performance reporting for every property assigned to you within the client portfolios.

The Performance Reporting Group delivers all performance reporting for the Client’s US direct real estate funds and portfolios, valued at over $35 billion. The group reports quarterly and annual performance returns for all properties, investments and funds to internal stakeholders, clients/investors, industry reporting associations and consultants. This work is necessary for the Advisor’s product lines including open-end funds, closed-end value-add funds, closed-end strategic opportunistic funds, an open-end debt fund, and separate account clients. Understanding the structure and investment premises of these funds and their underlying assets will be critical to providing quality work. The group works closely with industry participants to develop, maintain, and adhere to Real Estate Reporting Standards.

Position Overview:

The Performance Reporting position is based in Dallas and will be responsible for all performance reporting within North America for all separate accounts and funds managed by the Client. The successful candidate will also be expected to identify and capitalize on opportunities to create efficiencies and create value by developing and sharing best practices consistent with the region’s reporting standards. This position will work closely with the Accounting team to finalize all performance returns and be able to leverage a strong financial background to complete quarterly tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for providing support for reporting all asset and portfolio performance (both Time-Weighted Returns & IRRs) to industry reporting associations, Portfolio Management, and all other business units.
  • Participate within NCREIF’s Reporting Standards Committee to stay informed of new Standards and be the firm’s liaison to communicating and adopting new standards and adhering to industry “Best Practices”.
  • Support performance reporting for each mandate/fund from inception through disposition, including setting up the return structure for all new acquisitions, using Yardi iPlus (Performance Module) to calculate, report, and maintain all investment performance.
  • Where applicable, assist in migrating historical investment performance returns from old reporting platform to Yardi’s Performance Platform.
  • Assist in collecting, managing and maintaining all internal performance-related data leveraging the firm’s reporting platforms, such as the Yardi Performance Module.
  • Help develop and maintain the mapping of all performance return components from income statements and balance sheets to the Yardi Performance Module.
  • Maintain and update the Performance Procedure Manual in accordance with the region’s Reporting Standards specific to the client/mandate.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Management to automate reporting to Clients, as well as, creating new reporting functionality to better improve performance transparency to Clients
  • Work closely with our team in Hyderabad by managing and developing quality control, validation reporting, and automation of performance reports.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • University or college degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • 1-2 years experience with Yardi and Yardi Performance Module a plus.
  • Intermediate skills with excel (v-look ups, pivot tables)
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles
  • Must have a general grasp of understanding the inputs and outputs of a property-level cash flow

The base salary range for this role is ($90,000 - $155,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.  All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
